We had a facebook live from the Adiyaman site!
We would like to share with you what is going on there!
A group of five PCP members and supporters gathered at the site to check and discuss the situation with the Syrian refugee families affected by the earthquake in Turkey.
First, we had a discussion with the teacher who provides learning support (literacy education to learn how to write and read the Turkish alphabet is the main focus).
The children have been attending school since last month, but we have just realized again the need to continue the language support, as it seems difficult to keep up with school classes without first learning to read and write.
The fact that the children were able to register at the school is also thanks to the efforts of the learning support teachers. It is also quite difficult for the children's parents to carry out administrative procedures such as changing schools alone.
The teachers are also coordinating with the government at other occasions such as when the water supply was cut off for several days at the housing we supported in August and September. We would like to continue to watch over these children so that they can live and grow with as much peace of mind as possible.
We have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise 2.5 million yen for one year of learning support by the end of December. Thank you very much for your cooperation in advance!
We also welcome your help by sharing the crowdfunding page.
